Morton Masonic Lodge has proudly served the Morton Community since 1860.
Morton Lodge No. 352 was chartered as Groveland Lodge No. 352 on October 3, 1860 at Groveland, Ill.
W. Bro. E.C. Corwin was appointed as the first Worshipful Master. Twelve Masters served the Lodge while in Groveland. The Lodge with 24 members was moved to Morton in 1901. W. Bro. E.C. McKibben was Master at the time. The Lodge has constantly grown to a membership of 330 Brethern. The last meeting of Groveland Lodge No. 352 was held on October 31, 1927.
The first meeting of Morton Lodge No. 352 was held on November 14, 1927, with W. Bro. Leo R. Lohmar as Worshipful Master. Dues at that time were $4.00 per year.
In 1958 a new Lodge Hall was constructed at 700 South Fourth Street in Morton, Il. The first meeting being held in November. W.Bro. Clifford Jibbens was Master at that time. Bro. F. Verne Overend was initiated in a rented building down town, was passed in the Tremont Lodge Hall as a courtesy, and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in the new Lodge Hall at 700 South Fourth Street.

The name of this Lodge shall be Morton Lodge No. 352, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. By virtue of a charter granted by the Grand Lodge of Masons of the State of Illinois under the date of Oct. 3, 1860 to Groveland Lodge No. 352 Groveland , Illinois, which was under date of Sept. 21, 1901 by unanimous ballot moved to Morton, Illinois. By resolution presented Jan. 24,1927 and balloted on Feb. 28, 1927 the name under the Grand Lodge was changed to Morton Lodge No. 352, A.F. & A.M. The corporate name of the Grand Lodge was changed to "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Illinois," at the annual meeting of the Grand Lodge held on Oct. 6, 1908 in the city of Chicago, Illinois. 8/12/46.
